Potomac River Group (PRG), a Virginia based small business, began its Government Services and Homeland Security products business in November 2003. Since its inception, PRG has supported multiple federal agencies and the military with specialized in-country and international training, support services and security and force protection equipment.

Qualifications
PRG is comprised of former senior governmental officials and federal agents from organizations such as U.S. Customs (ICE & CBP), FBI, DEA, USSS, FAA, TSA/Federal Air Marshal Service, and DoS. Our cadre of personnel also includes DoD intelligence and special operations personnel, emergency responders, HAZMAT experts, and international security and safety specialists. More than 75% of the PRG staff has been assigned to long term overseas positions or deployments during their professional careers. All PRG employees are seasoned professionals with over 25 years of senior management service with their agencies.

Our core experience includes anti-terrorism programs, border management and security activities; customs field operations, inspection and administration of airports, seaports and land border ports of entry, domestic and transnational investigations that include money laundering and the identification/ removal of the proceeds of illegal activity, and asset forfeiture program management services. The PRG experience base also includes operational and organizational assessments, threat and security management, intelligence analysis, collection and reporting, development and management of homeland security policies and procedures as well as the development, update, and maintenance of security related operations, exercises and training.

• State/local governments may now purchase services and equipment directly from PRG under the GSA Cooperative Purchasing Program. PRG has an awarded GSA contract in place under Schedule 84
  

• PRG continues to provide training worldwide for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA)
  

• PRG and Raytheon Technical Services Company were accepted into the Department of State’s Mentor-Protégé Program
  

• PRG entered into a formal teaming agreement with Grant Thornton, LLP to provide professional Asset Forfeiture support services in a timely and cost effective manner to the Department of Justice agencies.

  PRG is selected to provide Financial Investigations, Money Laundering, and Asset Forfeiture training for the DEA Caribbean Division.
  
• APRIL 2011
  PRG is awarded a multiyear prime contract by the Department of Defense, Defense Intelligence Agency to provide firearms training.
  
• JANUARY 2011
  PRG is again selected to provide Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering training to police investigators at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy.
  
• NOVEMBER 2010-MARCH 2011
  PRG was selected to provide Forensic Accounting, Litigation expertise, and the identification of assets for the Department of Justice, U.S Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
  
• JULY 2009
  PRG is awarded a multiyear IDIQ prime contract by the Department of State to provide equipment, maintenance, and training for the Export Control and Related Border Security Assistance (EXBS) Program. Teammates on this contract are Raytheon Technical Services Company, Allied Technical Systems, TSA Systems and CSMI. A host of equipment vendors and manufacturers are also on board to support the Program through the PRG contract.
  
• JUNE 2009
  PRG is approved to provide training at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. An initial class on Increasing Asset Forfeiture Cases and Revenue was provided to Police/Sheriff investigators and supervisors in September 2009.
  
• MAY 2009
  PRG is awarded a multiyear prime contract by the Financial Enforcement Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) inspections and training.
  
• APRIL 2009
  PRG adds Phantom Industries to our growing list of manufacturer/partners. Their innovative line of safety and security products including tactical vests and armor, knee pads and elbow pads brings additional depth to PRG’s support of law enforcement and the military.
  
• FEBRUARY 2009
  PRG is selected by the Defense Criminal Investigative Service to provide Tactical Pre-Deployment training.
  
• JANUARY 2009
  A full range of Vectronix products including Pocket Laser Rangefinders, Vector Rangefinder Binoculars, and MOSKITO Compact Day & Night Observation & Location Units are added to PRG’s GSA Schedule. These critical products, plus various accessories, are available to all state and local governments, as well as federal agencies and the US military.
